Hyperion Wharf - Nova Área em Downtown Disney para 2013
APESAR DA DISNEY TER ANUNCIADO OFICIALMENTE A HYPERION WHARF, O PLANO FOI MODIFICADO E TODO O DOWNTOWN DISNEY ENCONTRA-SE EM REFORMA E EM 2016 SERÁ REINAUGURADO COMO DISNEY SPRINGS. SIGA O NOSSO BLOG PARA SABER DE TODAS AS NOVIDADES DO DOWNTOWN DISNEY E DOS PARQUES EM ORLANDO
Novas experiências gastronômicas, de compras e de entretenimento estão à caminho do Downtown Disney e hoje nós estamos compartilhando as primeiras imagens para que vocês possam saber o que esperar do futuro complexo de 120 acres. Olhe atentamente e você verá que a Pleasure Island irá evoluir para uma vibrante área portuária chamada "Hyperion Wharf"!
O distrito ganhará vida com uma nostálgica, mas moderna cidade portuária do início do século 20 com o seu famoso cais que contará com inúmeras opções de diversões. Durante o dia teremos novas butiques e restaurantes e a noite, milhares de luzes vão transformar a área em um país das maravilhas eletrônico.
Levando o nome de Hyperion, o Deus grego da luz, bem como o nome da rua em que Walt Disney construiu o seu primeiro grande estúdio de animação, o distrito do cais contará também com um parque à beira do relaxante lago e novas e melhoradas passarelas para pedestres. E seus diversos restaurantes irão ampliar a disponibilidade de vivenciar um jantar em Downtown Disney por mais de 25 por cento.
Junto com o novo distrito, outros projetos estão em andamento em Downtown Disney, incluindo:
* Uma extensa renovação do Lego Imagination Center, que vai aumentar sua presença global em cerca de 3.500 pés quadrados e adicionar novos modelos feitos de Lego em seu exterior, criando cenas de filmes clássicos Disney.
* Melhorias na AMC Theatres, que se transformarão nos cinemas mais modernos dos Estados Unidos.
* Inúmeras lojas e centros de entretenimento serão adicionados ao longo de todo Downtown Disney.
As construções começam imediatamente e estão marcadas para terminar em 2013, junto com a abertura da primeira fase da expansão da nova Fantasyland no Magic Kingdom.

No segundo artigo (Clique Aqui para ler), mostramos algumas fotos tiradas do estúdio, em abril de 2009 e mostramos o ator que deu vida a C3PO.
Como explicado anteriormente, todos os 1000s Star Tours Starspeeder voam usando a mais recente série de robôs AC-Tour. Os planos iniciais eram para o novo Starspeeder ser pilotado pelo AC-38 mais conhecido como "Ace". No entanto, em conversas com George Lucas durante o curso da produção, foi decidido levar a história em uma direção muito diferente e ficou decidido que o novo piloto será o famoso C3PO! .
Esta semana, os Imagineers começaram a instalar os Audio-Animatronics na cabine do Starspeeder na Disneyland e mês que vem, o farão no Disney's Hollywood Studios.
